Payment Security: We never store full credit card numbers. All payments are processed by Flutterwave (PCI-DSS compliant) using tokenized transactions.

DATA RETENTION
We keep your data for the following periods: Donation/purchase records for 7 years (for legal/financial requirements), email communications until you unsubscribe, website analytics for 26 months, and chatbot conversations for 90 days. After these periods, data is securely deleted or anonymized.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We work with trusted partners like Flutterwave (payment processing), Firebase/Google Cloud (hosting), Google Analytics, and Gemini AI (chatbot). We vet all partners to ensure they meet high privacy standards.
INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Our servers are located in Google Cloud data centers. If your data is transferred outside Uganda, it is protected by strong security measures and subject to applicable data protection laws.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Our website is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you're a parent/guardian and believe your child provided us information, contact us immediately to have it deleted. Photos/stories of children in our programs are shared ONLY with explicit parental/guardian consent.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy. When we do, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top. Significant changes will be announced via email or a website notice. Your continued use of the site means you accept the updated policy.
